01
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the service you are interested in and the message you choose to provide. If you contact or book with us by phone, email or a booking service, we may also collect the details reasonably needed to arrange and provide your appointment.
Our website and its hosting or security providers may process basic technical information, such as an IP address, browser or device type and request logs, to deliver and protect the site.
02
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and discuss the right service for you;
- arrange, manage and provide salon or bridal appointments;
- contact you about a booking or change you have requested;
- maintain appropriate business and security records; and
- meet legal obligations that apply to our business.
We do not sell personal information. We will not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing unless you have given us permission.
03
Services we rely on
Depending on the delivery method available, the enquiry form either opens a prepared email in your own email application or forwards the enquiry through an email-delivery provider to Pixie's inbox.
Our booking links open Fresha, which handles the details you provide there under its own privacy terms. The embedded Google Map may allow Google to receive technical information when it loads. Website hosting, security and email providers may process limited information where needed to provide their services. External services have their own privacy notices and controls.
04
Storage and disclosure
Access is limited to Pixie and trusted service providers that support the purposes described above. We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for enquiries, salon services, business records or legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it where practical.
Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia. Their locations and handling practices are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
05
Your choices and concerns
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting Pixie. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.
If a concern remains unresolved, you can learn about making a privacy complaint through the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Updates to this notice
We may update this notice when our website, service providers or information-handling practices change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
